Winter Camping Journey
Camping in the winter in Ontario! Some people would think that it's just nuts but it is actually a lot of fun. During the winter semester, participants will head out to a remote Ontario wilderness area to spend 2-3 days learning how to survive, and yes even thrive, in winter conditions. This trip generally includes a snowshoe journey and then a chance to sleep in quinzees (hollowed out snow piles).
