Florida Everglades Canoe Journey |
The Florida canoe journey is an amazing journey trip into the world famous Florida Everglades. The expedition starts at Medeba in winter conditions. After loading the van and traveling though the eastern states for a couple days we arrive at the beginning of a beautiful adventure. The Everglades trip offers a chance to journey through remote wetlands experiencing diverse wildlife and plant life, testing personal limits and developing community.
This journey has proven to be a great way to end a phenomenal semester, in many ways it is a culmination of significant learning about leadership, community, faith and life. Hey, what can beat escaping the Canadian winter to see some crocodiles, paddle through mangroves and do it in the presence of an amazing group of friends you have spent 3 months getting to know?
